Young Dubai DJs perform for El Kiddo and Bam-Bu-Ku
In July 2025, SUPERSONICS, the youth division of Dubai Sound Academy, took four talented young DJs on an unforgettable trip to Ibiza. Selected for their commitment, passion and progress throughout the year, DJ’s Ethan English, Jeremy Gomez, Cheetah and Sebby Long showcased their skills at one of the island’s leading beach clubs for families playing for two of the island’s leading events for children and adults alike!
Performing for El Kiddo – Ibiza’s Biggest Family Pool Party
Across three days of the trip, our DJs performed for El Kiddo, one of the island’s most popular family pool-party experiences. Each student brought a carefully curated set to hundreds of families and holidaymakers. For most of our young DJs this was their first international performance, and they met the occasion with professionalism well beyond their years.
SUPERSONIC Sunday at Bam-Bu-Ku Ibiza
On the fourth day, SUPERSONICS partnered with Bam-Bu-Ku Ibiza for a full SUPERSONIC Sunday takeover, with our four DJs delivering seven hours of music across the day to a packed beach club – a clear demonstration of the stamina and skill required of a working DJ.
This collaboration gave our students real experience in Ibiza, exposure to international audiences, performance time on professional Pioneer DJ equipment, and valuable industry insight that cannot be replicated in a classroom.
We extend our thanks to the teams at Bam-Bu-Ku Ibiza and El Kiddo for supporting our students, and we look forward to building further international performance opportunities in the future.
